The Linsdale Singers is a choir of around 30 voices. Specialising in singing unaccompanied choral music the Choir also performs works that are accompanied by piano/organ or a chamber orchestra. This established choir enjoys a reputation for high quality choral singing in the Leighton Buzzard and Linslade area of Bedfordshire, but their reputation also spreads far beyond this area as they have spent many successful weekends singing in British cathedrals and other churches.

An hour-long Sunday afternoon concert to mark the 80th birthday year of Karl Jenkins. The concert will comprise Jenkins's popular work "The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace", composed in 2000 and commissioned by the Royal Armouries Museum to commemorate the millennium.

The poignancy and relevance of the work is heightened by the fact that the CD recording was released on 10th September 2001, the day before the tragic events in the United States. Sadly its relevance continues in today's world.
